A traditional English caff opposite Anglia Square, serving a variety of weighty breakfasts. I stuck to a coffee and a freshly prepared bacon roll, which was tastier than the reheated offerings served up by many chain cafes. The service was efficient, and the atmosphere unpretentious. Should you be a smoker, there are a couple of tables outside equipped with ashtrays.

This is a cozy spot with honest food, pricing is very fair for the quality. I’d definitely recommend it for a relaxed bite or coffee break. :)

Food was good for the price the chap behind the counter was friendly and helpful. Went for breakfast here food was not stunning but was a very good price so cant argue there, only draw back is it was not the cleanest place and could do with a good deep clean that's the only reason it did not get 5 Stars.

I decided to try a traditional English breakfast at this café that I used to frequent several years ago. What I appreciate about this conveniently located café is that it’s not trying to be something it clearly isn't—a fine dining establishment! If you are someone who is very particular about hygiene, décor, furnishings, and the presentation of your food, you might be better off looking further up the road. This is what I call a no-nonsense cafe, you get what you pay for and nothing else. That being said, aside from the fried bread that I do not usually eat, I happily devoured my meal, which, along with a mug of tea, cost £9.30. The staff member taking my order was both professional and friendly, and during the short time I was there, I noticed several Just Eat pickups, during my short visit, suggesting they have a popular takeaway service. If you're driving, keep in mind the parking costs; there are very few free spaces available. However, there are several reasonably priced car parks nearby, with rates starting around £1.60 per hour or £6.50 for the day.

I've been here several times and always had a great experience. I came here on Tuesday and had the Banger And Mash option which was superb. The mash was lovely and tender with the gravy soaked into the mash which is how it's supposed to be done so kudos. The onion and mixed veg were a great compliment to the sausages and mash. The sausages were great although i did find the outer shell to be a little bit chewy but the inside meat was to die for. I was also served within 10 mins of entering the cafe which i cannot praise enough for the speedy service. Highly recommend if anyone is in the Anglia Square area
